About Lilypath & Authority Intelligence

Who is behind Lilypath?

Three co-founders: Erin Lanuti (CEO, GEO pioneer), Dan Nestle (Chief Product & Intelligence Officer, 25+ years of Fortune 500 communications, PRWeek AI Pioneer), and Todd Grossman (COO, 20+ years in media and technology, a former CEO with successful exits). Meet them on the About page.

How did Lilypath get started?

It grew from Dan Nestle's 25+ years of executive communications work. After LinkedIn deployed AI reasoning engines, Dan recognized the shift to a world where systems interpret you first, developed the diagnostic tools and scoring rubrics, and later partnered with Todd Grossman and Erin Lanuti.

What is Authority Intelligence™?

Lilypath's patent-pending framework for understanding how AI systems interpret professional authority — making it visible, measurable, and actionable. It powers everything Lilypath ships: the free Authority Snapshot, the one-time Blueprints, Authority 360, and the Authority Graph platform.

What does "patent-pending" mean?

Lilypath's methodology is subject to a filed patent application covering the system architecture — from how we ingest and normalize your professional signals through how we score, benchmark, and generate recommendations.

What makes Lilypath different from other profile services?

Most services focus on human perception, but AI systems now make the first visibility decision. Lilypath's patent-pending methodology is built specifically for how AI systems evaluate professionals — and it measures the result instead of assuming it.

Is there a satisfaction guarantee?

Yes — one guarantee, 30 days, every purchase. If within 30 days of buying you don't believe what we delivered gave you meaningful, actionable intelligence about your professional authority, contact us and we'll work with you to resolve it or refund you. We can't guarantee specific outcomes like job offers.

What happens to my data?

Your profile PDF and intake responses are used solely to generate your Blueprint — they provide the context that makes the AI's output accurate, nothing more. Personal information is not sold. Data is retained up to three years; deletion is available on request.

Do you use my uploads to train AI models?

No. Uploaded content is used only as context to generate your own deliverable. It is not used to train models, and it is not used to refine Lilypath's methodology — that work uses aggregated, de-identified usage data.

Authority Snapshot — the free read

What is the Authority Snapshot?

Your free, no-account look at how AI describes you today, one per person. We put up to twelve questions about you to ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity, each with web search on, and score what they say 0–100 across six sub-scores. One question asks who the best people in your field are near you; we ask it only if your business depends on local customers, and leaving it out never counts against you. Your report opens with the finding, then your score, Recommendation Strength, and “Is AI recommending you?”, followed by your record, “What is wrong” with three to five actions to take, every answer in full, a section called Google AI Overviews (AIO), and the sources the engines used. You can read the questions we ask, word for word. A headline card is there if you want to post your score.

What are the six sub-scores?

Recognition, Accuracy, Expertise match, Credibility, Competitive presence, and Source footprint. Together they roll up into your 0–100 score. The number is not a percentile, a benchmark, or a grade — there is no population behind it. It is a diagnostic of your own visibility, built to be compared against your later readings in the AI Pulse.

Which engines does the Snapshot read?

Four: ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity, each with web search on. The same questions also go to Google’s AI Overviews, and those answers appear in their own section, Google AI Overviews (AIO), beside the engines. They are never averaged into your score. The AI Pulse reads the same four engines and AI Overviews every week.

How long does a Snapshot take?

About three to four minutes from start to finished report. Each engine searches the web before it answers, and every answer is read and scored before the report opens.

Can I run the Snapshot more than once?

The free Snapshot is one per person, matched by email address or by name. If your first attempt failed, or its report never reached your inbox, you can try again. If you mistyped your details, you can correct them and run it again from the same address within an hour. Any other second attempt shows you a page with the AI Pulse, which re-reads the same engines every week, and if you used the same address we send your report link to it again. If you believe you need another Snapshot, contact us; we can allow one.

Is the Snapshot score assigned by the AI platforms?

No. It is not a rating, ranking, or score assigned by any AI platform. Lilypath's own methodology scores the answers the engines give about you.

How do I get my Snapshot results?

Your results live on a page — the page is the report — and we email you the link so you can return to it anytime. Want to share your result? Share the headline card; the full report stays yours. If you subscribe to the AI Pulse from your report, it becomes week zero, the first point of your Pulse series.

Blueprints — Profile Optimization for LinkedIn

Which Blueprint should I choose?

Choose the track that reflects who you are: College Student ($149), Job Seeker ($299), or one of the four professional tracks at $499 — Authority Builder, Engineer, Attorney, or CPA / Accountant. All are one-time purchases.

What's included in every Blueprint?

A 0–100 AI Readiness Score, section-by-section fixes for your Headline, About, Experience, and Skills, copy-ready rewrites in your voice, and a content strategy. The College Student and Job Seeker tracks also include a Progress Check — a re-score that shows what moved after you implement.

Do you offer Blueprints built for specific professions?

Yes — for Engineers, Attorneys, and Accountants & CPAs, all using the same methodology calibrated to profession-specific credentials and standards.

How quickly will I receive my Blueprint?

Within 24 hours of completing your intake form — most Blueprints arrive within an hour.

How do I submit my LinkedIn profile?

Download your LinkedIn profile as a PDF (about 30 seconds), then upload it through our secure intake form with optional documents.

How does Lilypath compare to resume or profile writing services?

They focus on polished text for human subjectivity. Lilypath provides intelligence — a scored diagnostic of how AI interprets your authority today, plus recommendations to correct it.

Can I buy a Blueprint as a gift?

Yes for most paths. The Attorney Blueprint can't be gifted, because bar advertising rules require the attorney to review and approve their own profile language.

I already have a Blueprint. What's next?

Authority 360 keeps it true: you get two Blueprints a year, your profile is re-scored twice a year, and a weekly AI Pulse watches what AI says about you, so you see when the answer changes. Start the annual plan within 60 days and your Blueprint's full price comes off your first payment — the credit applies to the annual plan only. Or begin with Kickstart, the first three months of Authority 360 for $600.

Authority 360 & the AI Pulse

What is Authority 360?

The ongoing subscription for professionals: $150/month billed annually ($1,800), or $200/month month-to-month with a three-month minimum. A year includes two Blueprints, two Progress Checks, and a weekly AI Pulse across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity, with Google’s AI Overviews beside them, that shows you when the answer about you changes. The annual plan has all four credits from day one. Month to month starts with one Blueprint and one Progress Check. The second of each unlocks in month seven of your Authority 360 year, or the day you move to the annual plan. See Authority 360.

What does month to month include, and when?

Month to month starts with one Blueprint and one Progress Check. The second of each unlocks in month seven of your Authority 360 year, or the day you move to the annual plan. In practice: your first Blueprint and Progress Check are on your account page the day you subscribe. Month seven adds the second of each automatically with that month's payment, so a full year on month to month holds the same two Blueprints and two Progress Checks as the annual plan — you receive them in two halves rather than all at once. Your weekly AI Pulse runs from the first week. If you move to the annual plan before month seven, the second pair unlocks that day; if you move after, they are already yours and simply carry over.

What is Kickstart?

The first three months of Authority 360, paid once: $600 for your Blueprint (Authority Builder, Engineer, Attorney, or CPA), one Progress Check, and a weekly AI Pulse for three months. It does not renew. Your Authority 360 year begins the day Kickstart does, and you have three choices: upgrade to the annual plan any time during Kickstart for $1,200 — your $600 counts toward the $1,800 and the year keeps its start date; continue month to month at $200 with no minimum term when Kickstart ends; or stop, and nothing is charged. See Kickstart.

Kickstart or month to month — which should I choose?

Kickstart and month to month cost the same for three months — $600. The difference is what happens next. Upgrade during Kickstart and the whole $600 counts toward the $1,800 year, so the year costs $1,800. Move from month to month to annual after three months and you pay $150 for each of the nine months left — $1,350 — so the year costs $1,950. Kickstart also stops on its own; month to month renews until you cancel. Choose Kickstart if you want a defined three months with the option to make the whole year the best-priced way; choose month to month if you would rather pay as you go and are not sure yet whether you will stay a full year.

Does a Kickstart include fewer credits than month to month?

No. Both start the year with one Blueprint and one Progress Check. On Kickstart they are included in the $600; on month to month they appear on your account page the day you subscribe. The second pair arrives the same way on either path — in month seven of your Authority 360 year, or the day you move to the annual plan. Kickstart then stops on its own after three months, while month to month keeps renewing until you cancel, with a three-month minimum unless you came to it from a Kickstart.

What is the Authority 360 year?

Your Authority 360 year starts with your first purchase — a Kickstart or a subscription — and renews at $1,800 on its anniversary. Within the year, $1,800 is $150 a month, and that rate is what moving to the annual plan costs for the months left: convert in month five, for example, and you pay $1,050 for months six through twelve, charged when your current monthly period ends. Your remaining Blueprint and Progress Check credits carry over, and if month seven has not yet unlocked your second Blueprint and Progress Check, moving to annual unlocks them that day.

What is the AI Pulse?

The Snapshot’s reading, repeated every week and tracked. It asks the same twelve questions of ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity with web search on, and of Google’s AI Overviews. If you subscribe from your Snapshot, that Snapshot is week zero, the first point of your series. Each week reads Held, Moved, or Alert, in the engines’ own words; an alert means a new contradiction, an answer about someone else who shares your name, or a critical answer. Each Pulse rebuilds your list of three to five actions from the same questions, and when you mark one done, later Pulses say whether the finding behind it is still showing. You can add up to three questions of your own, asked of every engine and of AI Overviews with the full answers shown, and up to five names for it to watch. Charts track your readings over time, a strip shows each week’s recommendation, and the week’s reading arrives by email. See the fixed questions.

What is a Progress Check?

A re-score of your profile on Lilypath’s current method, showing which of your Blueprint’s recommendations are now in place and what to do next. When your Blueprint was scored on the same method, it compares the two scores overall and section by section. If your Blueprint was scored with Lilypath’s earlier method, your Progress Check re-scores your earlier profile on the current method where we still hold it; otherwise it says so instead of comparing two numbers measured differently. Authority 360 includes two a year; the College Student and Job Seeker Blueprints each include one.

What is drift?

AI models retrain and their answers change — sometimes about you. Drift is when the answer diverges from your actual record. Authority 360's weekly Pulse watches for it, so a wrong answer gets caught and corrected before it costs you an opportunity.

Authority Graph — Enterprise & Agencies

What is Authority Graph™?

Lilypath's flagship diagnostic, analysis, and insights platform for executives and industry leaders, bought through their company or agency. It asks Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity 25 core prompts, variants built from a detailed Source of Truth, and prompt modules for verticals and specialties, then checks every answer against that Source of Truth. You see scores and benchmarks, and more important, AI accuracy, your competitive set, and the citations working for and against you, with specific actions to address drift and reputation risk. It runs monthly (weekly and bi-weekly are available), includes a competitive landscape report and four Blueprints a year per seat, and all the data behind the report is exportable. See the platform.

What are the five dimensions?

Search Presence, Authority Framing, Recommendation Strength, Concept & Citation Ownership, and Drift & Hallucination Risk. Every Authority Graph analysis scores and benchmarks across these five.

What is a Source of Truth?

The verified record you control — the facts about a person or brand that every engine answer is tested against. It is what turns "the model said something different" into a measurable, correctable event.

What is the Professional Visibility Score?

The Authority Graph metric: a 0–100 score built from the five dimensions, benchmarked against peers and tracked cycle over cycle, so leadership teams can see whether visibility is improving and where the gaps are.

How is Authority Graph priced?

Authority Graph is sales-led with a five-seat minimum, billed annually — contact us for pricing. If you are deciding between products, start with the comparison page, or run your free Authority Snapshot first.

How LinkedIn's AI reads you

How do LinkedIn's AI systems work, and why does it matter?

LinkedIn uses multiple AI systems to read profiles across job matching, recommendations, and feed ranking. They value consistency, perform better with comprehensive data, and understand natural language — clear prose beats keyword lists.

How does LinkedIn's AI evaluate my profile?

At the retrieval stage, at the ranking stage (Generative Recommender), and in the systems that read a complete profile rather than a single post — the Skills Graph and Hiring Assistant among them. All seek consistency, improve with context, and process natural language.

How do you know this is actually how LinkedIn works?

We ground the methodology in LinkedIn's published engineering research and conference talks on the systems they have deployed — retrieval, the Generative Recommender, the Skills Graph and Hiring Assistant — and we test it against what the models actually return. Where we cannot point to a named source, we say so rather than reach for a number.

Why not just run my profile through ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini?

LLMs generate polished text but lack the positioning expertise and patent-pending methodology built into every report. Strategic judgment can't be prompted.

How LLMs read you

How do LLMs like ChatGPT and Gemini describe you — and how is that different from LinkedIn's AI?

LinkedIn's systems rank and match you inside one platform, reading the signals in your profile. LLMs answer open questions — “who is…”, “who are the top experts in…” — by synthesizing whatever they can retrieve about you into a single narrative answer. You aren't ranked so much as described, and the description depends on what sources the engine finds, how consistent they are, and which ones it trusts.

What do LLMs actually read about me?

Whatever they can retrieve: your LinkedIn profile, published work, press coverage, podcasts, directories, and general web results — plus whatever landed in their training data. For professional questions, LinkedIn is among the sources the engines lean on most, which is why fixing the profile and measuring the answers belong together.

What happens when an LLM can't find enough about me?

It doesn't say “incomplete.” It hedges (“there are several professionals with this name”), generalizes you into “an experienced professional with a diverse background,” pads the answer with a louder namesake's record, or leaves you out of the shortlist entirely. To an LLM, a thin record isn't neutral — it fills the gap with a weaker story, someone else's story, or no story at all.

Can what an LLM says about me change?

Constantly. Models retrain, sources shift, and web-search results vary from run to run. That movement is drift, and it is why Lilypath measures on a cadence instead of once — the weekly AI Pulse in Authority 360, and Authority Graph's monthly runs.

Do you work with platforms other than LinkedIn?

The profile work starts with LinkedIn, given its advanced AI infrastructure and how heavily the engines lean on it for professional questions. The measurement products already go wider: the Snapshot and the AI Pulse read ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity, with Google’s AI Overviews beside them, and Authority Graph reads the same four engines.
